COURSE DESCRIPTION
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
While there are no entry requirements defined in the training package, the RTO requires the following criteria to be met:
- Applicants must be minimum 18 years of age at the time of commencement
- Successful completion of Australian Equivalent Year 12 qualification
- IELTS score of 5.5 or PTE score of 42 or Certificate III in EAL or its equivalent. In addition,
- Applicants should have basic computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Power Point).
COURSE DURATION
This course will be delivered over a 52 weeks (approximately 1 year) of full time study including holidays and breaks.
It is expected that the program would be of less duration for students who have completed components that can be identified by the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), and/or credit Transfer.

TARGET GROUP
Candidates who have completed a Certificate IV qualification within the Business Training package or have vocational experience in the leadership and management area and would like to develop skills and knowledge in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.
PATHWAYS INTO THE QUALIFICATION
Individuals may enter this qualification after completing a Certificate IV qualification or possessing significant theoretical business skills and knowledge acting in a range of senior support or technical roles.
PATHWAYS FROM THE QUALIFICATION
After achieving this qualification, individuals could progress to an Advanced Diploma Qualification within the Business sector.
